2017 – Beth

Most stories about supporters are about those who generously donate or collect funds for ACT Now. Recently we lost a dear friend who supported ACT Now in other ways. Even during her valiant fight with cancer, she helped recruit sponsors from her hospital bed, stuffed table frames and do other things for our golf event, all the while feeling totally awful from her treatment. Even with her death in September in her 50th year, she gave a final gift, asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to ACT Now.

Beth was an amazing woman whose spirit and generosity meant a lot to so many people. She did so much for something that she didn’t need personally.

She felt strongly about ACT Now because she couldn’t imagine anyone needing cancer treatment and not being able to get it because they couldn’t afford it. She lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
